About Me
Hi, I’m Monica!
I am a teacher based Bristol, and although I am originally Italian, I grew up in a fully bilingual environment. That meant I got to have it all, the Italian food, the British comedy, as well as the mixed holiday traditions.
Even though I have recently finished a PhD in Middle East Politics, I have also been teaching for about ten years, during which time I have had the opportunity to meet amazing students from every walk of life. I have taught in universities, high schools, homes and offices, and while I now mostly teach in corporate contexts, my students have been as young as 7 (though wise beyond their years).
One thing has remained constant in my work: my passion for teaching and engaging with students in their learning experience. I believe that lessons do not have to be scary or boring, and that everyone can achieve any objective they set for themselves with the right guidance and a touch of creativity.
Whether you are hoping to learn a new language, practice one you have been working on for a while, or facing an important exam, I hope I can help in reaching new milestones and give you the confidence you need to succeed.
